Personal work. “I created this piece right after a trip to Rio de Janeiro. I wanted to create a different visual than everybody expects from Brazil. One experience I loved most during my trip was swimming in the biggest aquarium tank in AquaRio, filled with all sorts of underwater creatures. It felt like this magical world that was entirely different from the one above, where the streets were filled with buses and traffic. The landscapes were gorgeous, but I was drawn to this parallel underwater universe that quietly existed under everyone’s noses.”
