“On December 3, 2014, I took a two-week trip to my hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. The last time I traveled to Nigeria was in 2009, and I wasn’t a photographer then. When I went this time, I made sure I had my camera ready. I wanted to document Nigeria in a way that shows its beauty, despite what the media says.”
